Frequently Asked QuestionsQ) What does the fee pay for?
A) The fee pays for my creativity, style, vision, professionalism, quality work and customer service. Also my flexibility, time and talent during the session, time spent on post-production work, photography insurance, printing and product cost, transport expenses and your online galleries.
Q) Can I drop a few hours from my package to save some cash?
A) You can drop hours, but it won't save you much, unless you're getting married on a weekday. Weekends are prime dates for me. If you're getting married on an off-day and are only looking for a few hours, there is a £220 per hour includes a keepsake memory disc of all high-res edited digital images (minimums 2 hour booking) for a weekday (Monday – Friday) wedding photography service. 1 hour booking is £320 includes a keepsake memory disc of all high-res edited digital images
Q) We love your photos and style! How do we book you to photograph our wedding?
A) Please contact me to find out if your date is available and if it is then all you need to do is to pay £500 retainer fee and return your signed wedding contact (I'll email you this).
Q) It might take us a couple months to get the booking fee saved up. Can you pencil us in?
A) Unfortunately no. The only way to reserve your date with me is to sign a contract and pay the 50% of your wedding package retainer fee. It’s a first book first serve basis.
Q) When is our remaining balance due?
A) Your remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding date. A reminder will be sent out via email to help keep you on track.
Q) Are the photos on my disc going to be edited?
A) Yes! The photos you receive will be fully edited and ready to print. They are not straight out of the camera files. What you see in your gallery is what will be on your disc.
Q) So does that mean I will own the copyright for my photos?
A) Not exactly. What I give you is a license to print your photos anywhere, anytime. Shan Fisher Photography retains copyright to all photos. Your license does not include permission to sell, modify or enter your photos into any contests or commercial work. Let me know if you have any more copyright questions!
Q) Who type of payment do you accept?
A) Bank transfer would be the best way. I will email you my bank details. Alternatively post a cheque to Shan Fisher Photography, Kimmeragh, Ballafesson Road, Port Erin, Isle of Man. IM9 6TX or cash. If you prefer to make credit card payment via PayPal 4% PayPal payment fee will be charged.
